A thing I do from time to time is to review unfinished work.\u00a0 Recently I found some old lyrics from an abandoned musical, that I had forgotten about, and\u00a0 that I quite liked.\u00a0 Here is a poignant song about the death of a writer!<\/p>\n
When somebody famous<\/p>\n
Falls under a bus<\/p>\n
It makes us feel better<\/p>\n
That it isn’t us.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
If there’s one thing we love<\/p>\n
It’s celebrity death<\/p>\n
We turn on and wait<\/p>\n
For that last final breath.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Yes celebrity death cheers everyone up<\/p>\n
It makes us feel better that no matter who<\/p>\n
The rich and the famous must also die too.<\/p>\n
But though I loved Freddie<\/p>\n
And I’m in PR<\/p>\n
The name of a writer<\/p>\n
Won’t go very far.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Yes though he was kind<\/p>\n
And no one politer<\/p>\n
Still and all Freddie<\/p>\n
Was only a writer.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Only a writer<\/p>\n
How sad and how tragic<\/p>\n
And though yes there is still some kind of magic<\/p>\n
Yet although his soul he quite frequently bares<\/p>\n
He’s only a writer<\/p>\n
So nobody cares.<\/p>\n

With all of their money<\/p>\n
And all of their fame<\/p>\n
Celebrities die<\/p>\n

When stars pass away<\/p>\n
The future seems brighter<\/p>\n
But nobody cares<\/p>\n
If it’s only a writer.<\/p>\n

For Stars and their sex lives<\/p>\n
The internet hums<\/p>\n
But for only a writer<\/p>\n
Nobody comes.<\/p>\n
